If you’ve grown tired of “phoning in” your usual gym workout, we’ve got good news! If you are sick of never seeing results, even after countless hours on the elliptical machine, you need look no further. There’s a new kind of workout in Denver that will not only keep you off the monotonous treadmill, but it will get you into better shape than you’ve ever imagined. What is F.I.T.?

FIT boot camps are tough; there’s no way around that. But one of the upsides of this hour-long, high-intensity workout is that it can burn up to 900 calories during that time. Plus, your body will continue to burn even more calories for a full 24 hours after you leave the gym. Talk about an effective workout!

Now let’s talk about efficient: FIT boot camp in Denver is a form of high-intensity interval training (also known as HIIT) that never lets your body grow complacent. What this means is that your body will burn calories more efficiently for hours—well after class ends. It also means that your muscles will never know what to expect, so they will continually be challenged. And you’ll see more consistent results.

How is it Done?

Here’s what you can expect when you come into our gym: There is a different workout posted each day, so neither you nor your muscles will get bored. You’ll never know what you’ll face until you walk in the door. Tabatas? Partner workouts? An obstacle course? Yes, yes, and yes! Your muscles won’t know what hit them.

Once you’ve seen the workout mapped out on the board—and get a chance to meet your fellow athletes—you’ll get started. The warmup is usually about 15 minutes long and often consists of a short run or row along with a few other exercises to get the blood flowing. Next up? The fitness test. This is a two-minute challenge that will help you document your progress. It too varies each day. One day you might be tested to see how many air squats you can do in two minutes; on another you might be asked to count your Russian kettlebell swings.

After a bit of ab work, your body will be ready to dive right into the main segments of the workout. Usually these consist of a variety of circuits that will challenge you and push you. Here are a few of the exercises you might find in the FIT boot camp Denver WOD (workout of the day):

WHO DOES OUR WORKOUTS?

Everyone! Our athletes are a diverse group, running the gamut from total beginner to seasoned competitor of all ages and all abilities. The workouts at FIT boot camp in the Denver Broadway downtown location are easily modified, depending on your current level of fitness. We have a great coaching staff who get to know our boot camp participants personally, and they work hard to ensure you are using proper form, getting a challenging workout, and staying healthy and injury free.

If you’re someone who spends miles on the trails either on foot or on bicycle, you’ll find that our boot camps will help you avoid repetitive motion injuries. Our coaches are some of the best in the biz, and they are passionate about the work they do. They will get to know you and they will help modify the classes where needed, whether you need less challenge or more.
